Our client Cartmel Cheese, required a website to showcase their prestigious collection of artisan cheese. The business is well established in the sector, but was not presenting products for online sale as effectively as their South Lakes based shop.
The team worked with Cartmel Cheese to understand the customer based and product selection. From this a navigation structure was developed, which allows the user to choose key attributes to take them to the most relevant product quickly.
The team also worked on an appropriate colour pallet, which was used to develop further areas of interest through the site, and to develop a very user friendly checkout process.
We were approached by new startup DJ Bell Haulage, who required a brochure website to act as a web front-end to potential customers. The Make Us Visible team were able to look at competitors in the sector, and agree a page structure which would take potential clients to the right page as quickly as possible.
As well as a clear description of the services, we also produced pages with simple, and strong calls to action, to ensure that the site generates enquiries from visitors. We were also able to implement some innovative animations, such as a screen pushing burger menu button.
Our local clients Furness Fish & Game approached us to totally redevelop their established website ‘Morecambe Bay Shrimps’. The site sells a range of Fish & Game produce, all locally sourced, selling to both retail and consumers.
We worked closely with the client, to understand their branding, and target audience. After a number of draft designs, we began development of a fully responsive site, built on the WordPress/Woo platform. The site has a heavy focus on navigation, ensuring that the customer is able to navigate to the desired product or category with ease.
We produced bespoke design for all pages of the site, including home, products, categories, and the checkout procedure. We also integrated the site with the STRIPE payment gateway.
As with all our sites, the focus is on c conversions, so that the user experience and functionality makes it as easy as possible for the customer to go from start to finish with ease.
